Who We Are

Leadership

The International BodyTalk Association (IBA) is a privately held company founded by John and Esther Veltheim and managed by them and Executive Director, Allan Vickers. It is headquartered in Sarasota, Florida. The IBA Membership numbers roughly 3000 strong in more than 30 countries. The IBA Europa GmbH in Germany in Germany is a subsidiary company of the IBA that manages Members affairs in all of Europe. It is headed by Claudia Schembri-Heitmann, and General Manager Felix Schembri.

Instructors

The IBA has more than 100 certified Instructors and Trainees teaching its curricula in the BodyTalk, BreakThrough, MindScape and FreeFall Systems. The training regimen for our Instructors is rigorous, and the certification standards are high in order to ensure that these powerful modalities are taught at the highest professional level possible.

Members

The IBA Membership is the core of the International BodyTalk Association. Professionals and students from around the world practice and promote BodyTalk and its related modalities to the general public, integrate these modalities into their professional practices and form a far-flung, but closely knit matrix of support for each other.

Staff

The IBA Staff in our office in Sarasota, Florida, coordinates the IBA Web site and the production and distribution of IBA coursework and promotional materials throughout the world. They also coordinate the Founders’ seminars and classes and IBA Learning Forums in several cities each year and provide support for the Membership internationally.

Local BodyTalk Associations

IBA Members and Practitioners in several cities and regions throughout the world have formed local BodyTalk Associations to support the BodyTalk System in their localities. While not officially affiliated with the IBA, these local associations have been very successful in building an awareness of BodyTalk, MindScape and BreakThrough in their communities and they continue to promote the IBA and BodyTalk modalities far and wide.
